Wow! It appears I haven't blogged since getting the puppies! I'm sure you all understand. ;) They've even been doing some rapping... watch out for 3 Dawgg Knyyght, y'all!

Big things have been happening for the Peanuts, and my sophomore solo album is underway as well! We had an incredible show at the Viper Room thanks to the Codega Group (we love you, Jaclyn Strong!!), and even got to bring some of our favorite bands with us!

Which brings us to the BIG, BIG NEWS!!! My company, Crabble Dabble Entertainment, is expanding!!! We have several powerhouse bands joining our record label, and we will also begin servicing events with live performers of said bands (mix 'n' match to the client's content!)... best part? Our clients will be able to choose which songs we will cover!! So book your holiday parties NOW! :)

On Tuesday, we have the honor of playing at NoHo Rockin' Arts Association Presents Mike and Brian's 2 Year Anniversary at one of our favorite venues, Skinny's!! Wow, so exhausted, yet exhilarated! Life has been a wonderful whirlwind!

Albert is conked out, curled up with Ambellina.

My bandmate is conked out in the other room, but I won't post a picture. No one needs to see that. ;P

Bill Mahoney and Langdon Bosarge have taken me under their wings, and for this, I could not be more grateful.

Every single day lately have been AMAZING Hollywood Days! :)

My dear friend, Bill Mahoney, of the INSANELY AWESOME "BILL SHOW" (check it out now! free and GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!), treated me to the MOST AMAZING HAIRCUT EVER!!!!

Seriously. Celebrity Stylist and all-around amazing human being, Hector Pocasangre, has changed my life! Seriously. Photos to come!

We had a super productive week on many fronts, including auditioning at the Viper Room (holds a VERY special place in my heart for so many reasons, including it being the first venue I was ever booked in LA, thanks to them changing the VIP room downstairs into an acoustic room!). We even gave a little impromptu concert on the sidewalk right there on Sunset Blvd. for Chris, who is super duper cool, everyone waiting in line to apply for all the bar/cocktail/etc positions, and everyone who passed by! It felt awesome, and we made a lot of great new friends!

We even had some of our Solid Gold Gallery 'Nuts with us! So great to spend the day with Joe Panameno and Mike Hallmark!! They always add a little sparkle to every event. Joe in his three piece suit. Mike in his hat. I can't believe I didn't take any pictures!

I really have so many people to thank that I cannot even fathom it... so at the risk of leaving people out, I just have to simply say thank you so much to all of you. Thank you to every single person in the world, because, really, we're all connected. The world may have some troubles, but if you take a second to look around, we are really pretty cool. I mean, we've created some amazing things, and that is something to be proud of! :)

Very soon... I'm off to NYC to visit my sister (both by blood and from Wellesley College), Theresa Pascoe! She's taking me to see the lovely Ms. Mandy Gonzalez in "WICKED"!!! YES! That very same day, we get to see the closing of "In the Heights"!!!! WITH Lin_Manuel!!!!!!!!! :O

Two days later, I audition for an Off-Broadway show!!! The BEST ACTING COACH IN THE WORLD took the time to work out my new song... inspired by the best story ever... wait for it. ;)

There WILL be a show Monday night in NYC... even if it's just 2 songs. Hit me up if you want me to message you the deets personally as they arise!

Sick or not, the Peanuts must rage. And rage we did on Saturday evening at the Universal Bar & Grill, our "living room" as Dances with iPhone would say.

So many thanks to the multi-talented Dante Cimadamore of give me motion, who ever-so-sweetly allowed me to sing our buddy, Nice Peter's part in "Christmas With You" in the video above! He actually trusted me with a mic without any practice beforehand-- yeeee-ahhhh!!

Oh, so many more amazing bands played with us at UBG on Saturday night! Dreamwheel Eclipse-- soooo groovy! I am thrilled that we got to be on a bill with such fantabulous artists that I would pay big money to go see! We also got to dance and thrash to Dialtone! Paul Orea and the rest of the band are SO awesome!! YAY!

I am SO thrilled to have been able to debut (with David and the great UBG) an act that I see REALLY huge things for: SEAN SORENSON AND THE TENNESSEE TROUBLE!!! They were so great! Sean and Nate Messina blow my mind grapes with the blending of their voices! All the bands were amazing, and I sure hope you were there!

Super huge thanks to Darren Kordosky for always being so supportive, fun, sweet, and an all-around amazing dude. Mr. Tony Santiago, you are winning so many bonus points with the Peanuts and the Nation! Coming in as not only videographer, but board op and Ton' of all Trades! We are so blown away, and cannot wait to see the videos and the other surprises in store for the Peanut Gallery and Nation thanks to you!!!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

Ahoy-hoy! The Raging Peanuts here!

The Peanut Gallery is officially the BEST group of fands (friends/fans, coined by the merry and wise Matthew Gray Gubler) EVER!!!! You add SO MUCH to our shows and our lives!!! We cannot thank you all enough for your support and love!!!

The energy in the Universal Bar & Grill last night was positively ELECTRIC! Y'all were ready to RAGE and ready to LAUGH!! THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!

And truly, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for bringing SO many great donations to help families in need!!!

There were so many amazing people there, and we're really hoping we haven't left anyone out here (or spelled their names wrong)... if so, spank Cory next time you see him!

First off, HUGE thanks to Kelly Ann at Universal Bar & Grill for allowing the Peanuts to take over the evening, and for being SO generous and loving and OUTSTANDING! We love Kelly Ann, Megan, and everyone at UBG!

We also cannot thank enough the wonderful artists who shared the stage with us! Nate Messina was incredible and charming, sharing covers and some original songs we're sure you'll soon see topping the lists on iTunes! In her first solo performance, the gorgeous and delightful Isabel Brazon proved (in case you didn't already know from her awesome work in PAPAFOAM!) that she was absolutely made for the stage, and the crowd couldn't help but fall in love with her!

Our amazing friend and neighbor, who happened to play for John Denver back in the day (ahem), DENNY BROOKS even played a set!!! And boy, was he on FIRE! Speaking of fire... SEAN SORENSON hit the stage as well!! Alongside Denny, Sean is, without a doubt, one of our heroes, and we are so honored to have played with him last night, to play with him at his brother, Sam's birthday party on Sunday, November 28th (see image below for details! Susanna Sorenson's throwing the party, and she got James Biskey, even JIM HANFT, and more AMAZING SURPRISES!!!).

We even got to share the bill with Sean at the VIPER ROOM on the 13th!! We are so lucky to know so many amazing musicians!!

A year of a tremendous "big gay talk show" (as we so lovingly refer to LANGDON NATION in our theme song), tons of big-time guests with even bigger hearts that we have had the extreme pleasure of getting to know, and the love of a new family.

Our birthday party celebrates not only Langdon Nation, not only HotTalkLA, but the family that includes you, our listeners and supporters from around the world. "Rockstars" SEASON 2 is underway, and my darling friend Kristie Rose has been working with me on not only that, but also several TV shows, including a new one for FOX starring the hilarious Kevin Pollack! And that's all I can say for now... confidentiality agreements... haha. ;)

I also had the UTMOST PLEASURE of chatting with Bill Mahoney live on his awesome radio program, BILL SHOW! Y'all should check it out! He even played THE RAGING PEANUTS... aaaaand... my poppish folk-rcck song, "Come Home"!!!!! Seriously... he's THE MAN. >Check it out.

The Raging Peanuts also recently hit the Viper Room for what proved to be one of the best shows ever!! What great energy we received from the crowd!! WOW! Thank you SO MUCH for being there and raging with us!!! We even got to share the bill with our incredibly talented friend, Sean Sorenson, to celebrate his return to live music! Wow, so many things are happening!

First off, on behalf of the Raging Peanuts, I want to extend a HUGE thanks to all our amazing fans... You add SO much to our shows, really-- they just wouldn't be the same without your awesome laughter and much appreciated cheers and applause! YOU ROCK!!

I dub thee "THE PEANUT GALLERY"!!!

And a super special thanks to my best friend, Katie Walker, the first big supporter of the Peanuts. I was lucky enough to have her come visit to celebrate our birthdays recently, and it was amazing! We ate at our favorite restaurant, ma-ma-ma-Mao's in Venice, did a *special* photo shoot at the observatory, and got into a whole lotta trouble-- including a Peanuts show at our old stompin' ground, Liquid Zoo! We love you and miss you so much, Katie!! Move back to LA!!!

We'd also like to say thank you to our family at Hot Talk LA, especially the host of our show, Mr. Langdon Bosarge!!

Langdon Nation turns 1 this month, and we're celebrating RED CARPET STYLE at the Palms with a big ol' comedy show (and you best bet we'll be playing!!).

We are also currently in production for season 2 of our web series, "ROCKSTARS"!! Langdon's going to join us, along with a lot of other top tier talent! WATCH OUT!

Tonight we had a rehearsal for our big show at the Viper Room this Saturday with our rad friend, Sean Sorenson. We love that guy. He's SO talented, and SO cool. And guess what... we wrote a hilarious song together!!!

Our brand new Billboard Hot 100 Mash-up debuts at the Viper Room as well-- you won't want to miss it!!

Wow! 2010 has been such a whirlwind! I've been so lucky to spend SO much time on TV sets this year-- YAY! I can't even believe it! :)

Most importantly, my OUTRAGEOUSLY RAD sister, Elisabeth, recently married the love of her life, Calvin Doorlag!! YAAAAAAY, DOORLAGS! :) Congratulations, and thanks for inviting the whole fam along on the cruisin' honeymoon! WHOAH! What a week!

Just a few days later, the episode of "Mad Men" I appeared on aired! It is always so cool to see and hear yourself on TV! I hope everyone who wants that gets it... soon! :) I just can't get over it. Call me obsessed, but I LOVE TV! July was a beautiful month full of 12-14 hour days making TV magic... I miss it already! :)

Today I had the pleasure of attending the "Married to Rock" Fashion Show in LA, and had such a blast!! And the other day, my totally tubular comedy band played a show at Universal Bar and Grill!

"Old Hollywood in the Valley!" * That's their slogan, and I ADORE IT! :)

I am so happy!

I just got home from my very first rehearsal for "MORE COWBELL!!! An SNL Musical" at the Hollywood Fight Club Theatre, and it was AWESOME!!

My wonderful director, Mike Bagood, is SO super cool, and was so insanely nice to me!

We hadn't really decided which roles I would play, because I somehow finagled the part without auditioning (hehee... I was filming "Mad Men" during auditions!).

You will never guess which songs I get to do...

"Dick in a Box"!!! "Motherlover"!!! AND hopefully LUNCHLADY LAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is another actor in the production up for the Adam Sandler role, but I'm going to learn the guitar part after our Raging Peanuts Comedic Concert at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club tonight!

Wish me many broken legs!! Hehee. :)

WOW!!!!

I love life! Haha. :)

Today was absolutely incredible. I have never been on a set with SO MANY smiling people! Everyone at Mad Men made me feel so at home... from the super cool costumers who fitted me with the CUTEST outfits to all those runnin' the show today!

Mad Men really gives their actors the STAR TREATMENT!!!! I got my nails done, a Big Time Hollywood Haircut, and TONS of AMAZING catered cuisine!!!

My sublime makeup artist, Margie, was SOOO magnificent and hilarious! I tried googling her, and... eep! She just MIGHT be an EMMY-NOMINATED MAKEUP ARTIST!!!!! :O! FOR Sex and the City!!!!!

"Now, your character has been partying for a... WHILE... so I have to make you look pretty disheveled. But don't worry, I'll still make you pretty!"

Like I said, best crew in the biz. :) :) :)

Now, let me tell you, there is NOTHING like being on a set where they go ALL OUT to really set the scene.

This episode of Mad Men takes place in the COOLEST beatnik-style artist's loft you've ever seen! The lighting crew... oh, wow. They meticulously changed the gels to beautiful reds, and we were constantly enveloped by soft glows... (they sprayed the bulbs to dull the shine).

WHAT A SET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Deep in the industrial side of LA lies a gorgeous gem of a building... my new friend, Joe, who played my boyfriend on this episode of Mad Men, kept commenting that he really wanted to live there!

It's true... it was awesome. And my other new friend, Ben (who has a HUGE role on this episode), actually GOT to live there! His character, anyway... or maybe he doesn't live there and just throws rad parties involving roaches... ;)

Speaking of roaches, the Props Crew also amazes me! They had ACTUAL PERIOD glassware for our "adult beverages" haha. AND herbal cigarettes for those of us with that "special skill" on our acting resumes (ha!). I only smoked in one of my scenes, yet still managed to go through SEVEN herbal cigarettes!

My voice is mad at me... but I'll do nearly anything for my craft. ;D

I can't give away too much, but I had a SUCH a blast. It was so easy to fall into character with all the help from the BEST CREW I've ever worked with!!!!

I can't say it enough... the Mad Men cast and crew are the sweetest, most genuinely nice people I've ever worked with! Not to downplay my SUPER DUPER AWESOME friends, Kerry O'Quinn et al, who worked on Queerantine!! I love you all, but DANG, did I ever feel special this week!!!! ;D

It's kind of a shout-out... back in the day, I discovered from the chefs at Old Country Buffet that their mashed potatoes were vegan!

Whenever we dined there growing up, I would take nothing but a huge plate of these vegan mashed potatoes.

I was walking back to our table with said plate once, and an old lady stared at it in shock and disbelief...

She said, slowly, "Ohhhhhh myyyyy GO-O-O-O-ODDDDD!"

Nice.

Now, please join me in a prayer (or something like it), that I don't "end up on the cutting room floor" for Mad Men!!!! You just NEVER KNOW!!!!!

OH! And my new super cool and funny friend, Chet Cannon, from The Real World: Brooklyn, worked on this episode, too!

This marks the second time I've acted in a SAG Production with a former Real World Cast Member!! The first was with Trishelle Cannatella on our movie, Ninja Cheerleaders!! :)

Randomly, I've also worked on SEVERAL MTV productions, and was even up for the title role of their original series, Kaya!! That would have been SO AMAZINGLY FUN! Bummer.

It's a MUSICAL at the HOLLYWOOD FIGHT CLUB THEATRE based on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!

AND IT'S CALLED MORE COWBELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Serendipity!!!!!!!!!

I've always known I belong on SNL! This is one more AWESOME step in that direction!!!!!

I'M SOOOOOO EXCITED TO START REHEARSALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

Woohoo!

So... I was using WordPress, but tried Blogger for my "Glee" Audition Blog and fell in love!!

Today I was lucky enough to sit in on "Uncle" Denny's voice-over session for Arco-- "straight up gas!" and it was so cool!! Very inspiring!

I'm exhausted from work at the restaurant and practicing "Can't Fight This Feeling" (on keyboard + singing) over and over and over again! I caught up on some Hot Talk LA and posted a few videos of us singing at karaoke earlier this week!! :)
